I would say it's OK to ware what you feel comfortable in.

Personally I'm not comfortable seeing people in onesies, I don't think they look good.

Truthfully? I really don't like them at all but I absolutely respect your right to wear one. If you were a paying guest in my home you would be welcome to wear a onesie if you wanted to.
