Well it was bought in Morrisons off the deli counter and it was marketed as a mature blue Stilton the texture was firmish but creamy and the veins were good. |

mmmm sounds a reasonable piece, but did the fact that it didnt say where it came from makes me think it wasnt "proper" if it was a creamy colour rather than white it was a good substitute. Most supermarkets do sell long clawson stilton, delicatescents if your lucky sell colsen basset but it will always say on it |

I get to that part of the world every may for a little festival down there..I like to go off site for a proper pork pie and some civility.
I waited till I was on my way home this year though and the shop I normally stop at had run out so I never got one in the end  |
