Car insurance, Again!
Jump to: Newest in thread
Well, a classic case of shopping round when it comes to car insurance!
I own a 1993 Volvo, I paid £400 quid for it in May 2009, I paid £181 to insure it a the time.
I could not believe the renewal when I got it recently, my eyes nearly popped out, just over £500 quid, I flew down the phone telling them were they could stick it, after a lot of haggling I got it down to £350 quid, which I still felt was too much for a car that isnt worth a carrot!
Anyway, I went online and got plenty of sensible quotes, and got it insured for £230 so I'm happy now.
Bloody daylight robbery, if your not careful. |

The whole thing makes me so angry. The insurance companies claim the extortionate increases are due to fraud and the recent increase in insurance claims. But wait a second isn't that recouped by increased premiums by the claimant, or the guilty party? Why should my unsurance go up because somebody else has claimed on their insurance? It's got nothing to do with me so my premiums shouldn't be affected.
