Blimey, I had to check that it was a lady posing this question as it's usually a gripe by the fellas.
The answer remains the same, no reply = no interest.
Or did you receive abusive replies. |

"If you are sent a message by someone that's not your type why can't you just be polite and thanks for looking but your not my type or just a polite massage back???"

politeness and a reply can sometimes give a wrong signal, then you get bombarded with messages from them as they think they have the right to spark a conversation,so it,s easier to ignore ?? |

Yes the majority of posts as this are from men, it does say in the FAQ that a no reply IS a polite no thank you. You may or may not agree but thems the facts.
Don't let it worry you, it's not personal and far from unique. Be yourself and be happy and I'm sure you'll be fine looking at your profile.
I do answer all my messages, I say all. All 4 of them and two of them were from guys asking about piercing advice pmsl.

Why should we send a "polite" no thanks,to someone that hasn't had the decency to read our profile or ignored certain aspects,no matter how polite or well worded they believe their message to be? |

Yes agree, always read the label. If someone has written a well worded profile, they have done so for a reason. Respect it. |

Exactly this !! There's polite and then there's 'polite' .... if your message is 'nicely' written, no text speak, and isn't crude, it still *isn't* polite if it's ALL about you and/or is completely unrelated to my profile - in fact it's damn bloody rude and arrogant and no way will you be getting a reply!
