I like the idea of getting one/some and love seeing well presented ones on others, but have never been able to think of something I'd like that wouldn't look silly on me..so as yet I am ink free |

You shouldn't worry about what other people think of your tattoos. I had mine done for me not for other people. They aren't to everyone's taste which is fair enough. |

Have you got an idea of the tattoo you want? You need to find the right artists for the style you want too. I'm going to be using 4 artists from the same shop in total for all of mine. |

Got to love the roses mason. My rose sleeve is colour instead of shading which a lot of people go for. Both of my sleeves will be going up onto my neck and throat too. Then the arch angel Gabriel on my back. |

Yeah...Two arms of tribal, one reflects the other..symmetrical like. a bit cliché buy personally I like the simple striking black of it. dragon on my shoulder blade, again cliché a bit but I was young and just wanted a tatt. still like it though..It has a pretty face. An anatomical human heart smack in the middle of my chest that's being clutched by a common orb weaver spider..that's homage to a friend of mine. and Peppa pig on my calf
planning more tribal across my chest back and shoulders bit that'll be next year and George pig needs to go on too |

To be honest I'm not a massive fan of tribal tattoos and wouldn't personally have one myself. The art and design are interesting to see but it's not my style. I have couple of cliché tattoos all in old English. Pretty much all of my tattoos are dedicated to a friend or family member.

I like it on me I broke my arm years ago and it's severely limited in its movement now to the point it makes me look uneven,I.e my arm is bent permanently..It won't straighten .as my tribal builds it makes me feel more even or symmetrical psychologically somehow..its almost therapy for me if that makes sense? that's why my tats are starting to mirror each other
a couple of mine are for friends or have meaning but I'm not that fussed about dedicating them all to something deep and meaningful really in all honesty...I'm happy with just liking how some of them look really
I like then for this reason though..we're all very diverse and ink is one outlet for that |

*hangs head in shame*
Btw- I have no tats but I have a rather complicated design involving rainbow/steampunk/ butterflies that I want but lack the funds and a Really good tattoo artist recommendation, before I proceed.
My other half has a tribal shoulder tattoo, interwoven with an amazing dragon though!
(Off back to sleep now, sorry folks!) |

Makes sense to me mate. My cousin fell off of a roof and shattered his elbow this time last year and will never have full use of his arm again. I have always had my sleeves planned out as a memorial for my grandparents but when I lost my best mate in a bike accident I decided on my back. |

I have a big Welsh dragon on my left peck, with a custom Celtic in fill ( that I designed myself ) & 2 bands both unique to me.
Took over a year to find my tattoos think I visited about 30 shops until I found the guy I liked & who would do my design and not change it in any way ( other than to fit in place )
Tarantula on left shoulder blade ( again unique infill to me ) & remerberance poem down left side written in calligraphy by myself in a mix of Welsh & English. |

She is by far my favourite, I get very mixed reviews on her though people either love it or hate it. With the exception of Mr niceanddirty everyone else hates the idea of another girl on the other side wearing a gas mask, it'll be similar size, red hair streaked through, big eyes, nice boobs, again in black, white and grey except the subtle red in her hair. |

I got my first one done in June in my foot; lotus flower with chandelier beading and then design by me incorporating family and ethnic origin.
