A loaf of Italian bread or a roll. Provolone cheese. Tomatoes. Red onion. Lettuce. Black olives. Oil and vinegar. Salt, pepper, and oregano. Honey mustard on the bread. |

Ooooh I love sandwiches. I don't like butter or margarine so I have salad cream on my bread. Nice ham with cheese and cherry tomatoes or I really like those egg and bacon sandwiches that you get in the garage but I stick crisps inside as well. |

"What's your sandwich of choice?
Are we meant to name two forumites?
You know I go all coy on those sort of threads
Mr ddc"
If THAT's what you understand a sandwich to be, who am I to object?

Veru, very rarely (as in once a year if that) I will go old school with a properly crusty bap with really strong cheddar, raw onion and butter. With a bag of salt and vinegar or smokey bacon crisps on the side naturally. But more often it's a spelt loaf sliced medium thin with pastrami, dijon mustard, mayo, sliced tiny plum tomatoes, cocktail gherkins, black pepper, cheese (a thinly sliced cheddar usually unless I have some edam in) and julienned raw red pepper. Or I make a quick mackerel pâté type thing (similar veg and condiments to the above but add lemon juice, and sliced olives and capers) and have that in a wholemeal roll. |

"Will we soon be running out of days for international dedications?
My family told me off for highlighting this one.
We've got World Hello Day later this month. "
Oh dear I fear there will be a topic. |

Use it like thick butter. It works.
Avo makes the best butter! "
It doesn't work with everything but more than you might think. All that good cholesterol too.

Made some amazingly decadent sandwiches that tantalise the tastebuds, but a firm favourite is still the humble fishfinger on white bloomer with lashings of salt and vinegar |

Bacon, with extra bacon. And then some more bacon. With a very small dash of brown sauce, between two thick slices of soft fresh white bread, thickly buttered. MMM MMM MMMmmmmmm...!!! And if I'm being really nice to myself, I add some more bacon All washed down with a big mug of tea. Sorry Fabbers, but that's BETTER than sex |

"Today (3/11/2016) was World Sandwich Day.
What's your sandwich of choice?
Chicken salad. X
You healthy bastard! "
Ha ha ha I'm really not! I love a good bacon butty with mushrooms and tomatoes. I love a ploughmans etc but a chicken salad is my favourite. No idea why. Plenty on good quality butter on good quality bread/sub roll etc with lots of chicken and salad. Maybe a squeeze of mayo too! X
I have one for my dinner tonight. X |

Stating that women on here will always be second best to a greasy salted pig, may not exactly improve your success on here |
