Im in middlesbrough and would travell for the write ones  most people make it. Hard to meet im on skype and kik as whell but most people say they will meet but if i ask to make sure there not faxe they stop texting me xx |

Why should anyone travel far to meet you OP...you won't travel yourself and can't accommodate? If you can't make the effort why should they? Contrary to popular belief single guys are allowed to have standards and preferences too!
I never expect men to drive for miles to meet me - I discourage it because I won't - yet they still do. And if they don't want to I don't get my knickers in a twist over it  |

I don't blame them, with the amount of times men are sent on a wild goose chase on here. I wouldn't invest time and money in travelling to someone who may or may not be there/actually want sex with me. |

For a first meet I do have my limits as to how far I'll travel. You never know if your going to get on if there's a spark. But for any meets after that I'll travel a lot further. This weekend I'm off to Ireland. Xx |

I'd agree mostly,though being 5 10" n weighing in at just under 11 n a half stone I'm not really big cat material (as much as I liken myself to a tiger!)

i travel a lot.
i try and organise socials when im out and about at places im going to anyway, in case im stood up or something.
i realise i live in an out of the way place and no clubs in my area, so i make the effort. However, i like others to make some efforts too x and i must admit i have found people that do x |

To me it should be part of the scene, I'd travel for a social or a meet, if I knew I wasn't going to be let down. Which I have to say I've never been but reading some of the stuff that goes on here I think I'm quite lucky |

Go to them, then. It's a two way street. I don't travel far because I'm on public transport too, so it would be a bit rich of me to whinge that others didn't want to travel far either. |

Guys who won't travel fall into 1 of these 3 categories:
1. They just aren't that interested in you.
2. They are too skint and won't admit it.
3. Can't live up to their own hype that convinced you to meet them in the first place.
Usually 1 & 2.

I wouldn't travel far just for a social though.
For a social, I'd travel 1 hour..absolute MAX.
I prefer to get to know people via chat and Whatsapp by that point both parties would know if we are gonna fuck each other or not.
Unless of course, one or both look fuck all like their pics...  |

I'd drive a few hours to meet someone if I knew they was not gonna let me down meeting me.
If nothing happened then that's fine but as long as they meet for a coffee or something then it's not a wasted meet nor a waste of my time. They'd have to chat with me for at least an hour mind before I travel back haha.

As Suzi says & we now say in our profile if your miles away & want s social, no probs we'll do the club thing too while we are there, if we meet & we want to get jiggy, cancel the club.. Easy really..
Just organising it takes a while with family stuff Etc..

I travelled all the way to Hull which was 6.5 hours on a train with 3 changes on route at various stations. Had been chatting everyday on the phone and texting and every night we would Skype for hours, like both fall asleep with our laptops still on! Was quite romantic when we finally met, he was waiting for me at the station in Hull and we went to a hotel and from that first night he came down to wales every other weekend or I went up to hull, lasted about 18 months! |

I remember changing in Manchester train station and it was massive and you had to pay 40p to use the toilet, blew my mind! I also got to hull station and asked a man where the exit was but then realised it was a statue! |
