Why do feelings mess everything up?!
My fwb developed them so I let my guard down. It all went downhill from there!! It's over now and it's raw. I will miss the mind blowing sex without a shadow of a doubt. I should have walked away months ago.
Sorry for the rant just had to let of steam.
Wanted .... new fwb that won't develop feelings .... close to york area  |

This exact same thing has happened to me but in reverse...I was the one that got the feelings...and bow I'm sad cos it was the best sex ever  |

I knew him when I was 17/18 but he never got a look in then. Hadn't seen him in 21 years and we got chatting on fb. He came over for a glass of wine & it started there. it was only ever a bit of fun. Then a few months ago he asked us to be exclusive to each other & admitted he had feelings for me. From that day on it's been toxic & on & off. He has lots of mental baggage. The thing that kept us running back to each other was the sex!! I've done slot of firsts with him and had more to go - the york social in Dec for a start. All lines of communication are now severed as otherwise when we were horny it would start again. |

Sounds like it was doomed for a while if it was toxic for a long time sex is no reason to keep it going .

No misunderstanding that I know about. Basically I think he can't handle that he has feelings so it's better to go out separate ways - I'm not going to be picked up & dropped because he has no idea what he wants. |

Feelings suck...been there one since joining here myself.
I found one of the hardest things to let go of following the end of my fb relationship was anger. I was stuck in the ‘blame game’and endlessly questioning who did what and what could have been done differently. But that kind of thinking only made me feel bitter and regretful and I kept going round in circles. In the end I just had to come to terms with it and be brave and move on. You are only human....you'll get there...give it time.x

Feelings are natural and usually beyond your control but if it doesn't work for both people it can be awful.
It's a difficult balance and sometimes no end of talking can sort it out.

Oh feelings, I've tried the nsa route, it didn't work for me ..like I've stated in my profile I'm human and no matter what feelings always come into play, whether it's feelings of I fancy the pants off a person,great sex,fantastic kisser and just a person's touch these are all feelings.....it's when them feelings run deeper I shut down and block them out.
Yes I've been stung on here when I first joined about 2 yrs ago it hurt like a bitch but I got over it and you will to ....what's the saying....live and learn...you'll get there don't let this spoil your time here not when there's so much fun to be had.xxxxxxx |

Definitely been there and had that happen, it's hurts like hell as you, and a many others it seems know.
Day at a time I guess, and, if I may be pragmatic for a moment, things will work out for the best.
