So, I've just read a piece on the BBC News app that Lincolnshire county council have started a new scheme whereby anyone on a date who feels unhappy or in danger can go to the bar and 'Ask for Angela'. This in turn triggers the bar staff into action and they can help the person.
Now, whilst a lot of people would just say sorry, it's not working out, see ya later....a lot don't have the confidence to do it.
So my question is....good or bad idea? |

My view is anything that helps improve the safety and security for anyone meeting relative strangers for dates etc is a good thing |

One of the doors I used to work on I knew who the regular swingers/ party girls were.
If it got intense and they needed a get out clause they would excuse themselves and then come to me. Nobody is going to argue with the door staff when being escorted out the door |
