Are you a straight from wrapper to mouth, or do you prefer it chilled 1st?

Do you munch it whole or cut it up into bitesize bits?

I've just eaten a Snickers, which I have to slice up same as a Mars Bar.

Fruit & Nut bar has to be chilled in the fridge before eating but a Flake / Ripple needs to be room temperature.

Surely I'm not alone in this thought process or am I.....

"Straight from wrapper .. that's WAY too complicated a system you have there Roxi! "

Often the best things are...

Chilled for the solid chocolate types, then suck and let them melt in the mouth.

Grabbing a sugar boost its out of the wrapper. Watching a movie, not sure which bar, cut some up (hopefully chilled) especially Snickers and Double Decker, then it's hope I have some to put back in the fridge (clearly this doesn't happen often...

I prefer my chocolate chilled but it's not essential.

I just bite it, straight from the wrapper, unless it's something like a Kit Kat or Twix. I then nibble all the edges off first.

You slice up some chocolate bars? With a knife? I've read some odd things on this forum, this is definitely up there.

I will confess to freezing mars bars. No! Not mars bar ice creams. Propper mars bars put in the freezer.

The first half to 2/3rds will crack off and is realy chewy but the last half just has to go in your face as a oner. And you'll be left unable to talk for 10 mins as you resemble a dog Chewing a toffee.

Although if you havnt tried it. Do it!

In the microwave is lush too for a Mars bar.

Flakes i eat quickly as they are messy

Wispa i eat slowly as i love eating them

Kitkats i like a finger at a time

And 5 fingers are enough

mint aero, flakes and whole nut chocolate have to be chilled

twix, milky ways, chocolate biscuits and the like can be eaten straight from the wrapper.

dont like easter eggs or boxes of chocolates, unless its ferrero rocher..i dont like all the different types..

saying that, i hardly eat chocolate..

Flakes break into 4 before undoing wrapper, undo wrapper carefully, eat 4 bits and still got crumbs in wrapper for that slide into mouth finish ...

Used to slice Mars etc but the size of them these days it isnt worth it the effort ...

After eights and Frys peppermint cream dark choc chilled before consumption...

I rarely eat chocolate nowadays , but on my birthday I'm going to have a twix as a treat. Has to be from the fridge - nibble the chocolate around the edge, then eat the biscuit, then the caramel and chocolate top last.

Walnut whip, also from fridge - I used to eat the walnut off the top, Bite off the choc top, lick out the marshmallow, then eat the hard shell. Really fancy one now.

Minstrels: Suck them hard till the shell buggers off and let the chocolate melt.

Galaxy: Just let it melt slowly in the mouth (and not in the hand).

Twix: Nibble the chocolate off like a rabbit eats a carrot.

Can't stand room temperature chocolate - it's far too sickly.

Has to have been in the fridge for a good 3 to 4 hours at least, or the freezer if it's thin or 'delicate' chocolate like a Ripple.

And I have to suck it slowly and let it melt in my mouth to appreciate the experience properly ...
