It might help if you give a general idea of area etc and who is likely to turn up. No point someone in Aberdeen or indeed the other side of Essex volunteering a room if you have a specific area in mind.
To be honest I wouldn't give a room in my house up unless it was ME vetting who was invited to come to into my home. I wouldn't want any Tom, Dick or Harry turning up that someone else had invited, hence my Travelodge suggestion.
