We have one and its great. We have kodi on it and now have the ability to watch so many things for free. I dont understand the tech part of it but hubby sorts all that out. |

I've moved on from that, now I've got some peperami firesticks! Now come here whilst I insert them and create the ultimate amazon firestick

Those that have one, do you also have a Chromecast and how do they compare?
I've got a Chromecast and find it pretty good - even take it away on holiday so I can stream Netflix while away |

We like it, they're especially good if you have a high speed broadband connection as you can watch live streams in 720 and 1080. Lots of choice, in fact thousands of channels. Only downside we've found is that you can get freeze issues so we update ours from fresh every two weeks by restoring kodi to its default then putting a fresh pulse wizard on it, works like new every time. |

I haven't a clue what is the best to be honest. I used to have Sky but recently cancelled it as I hardly watched it. I'm not well up on technology and stuff |

I have a Chromecast which I love.I didn't even need to build anything, I just plugged it in, installed the Chromecast app on my tablet or an extension on my lappy, find the show I want to watch on Flixanity and press the cast icon. As simple as that. |

Yes you need a HDMI port, as said you can buy Scart to HDMI adapters but I have no idea if or how well they work, they are about £15-£20 on Amazon n Ebay."

Quite easy to use and with the benefit being there are guides all over the net for lots of different projects and uses for them.
Buy a few 8gb memory cards and you can have a different operating system on each one too.
Retropie/kodi/raspbian etc etc.
Just put in the sd card for what you wanna do and it fires up ?? |

Sony android tv. Kodi built in ive just added on exodus and another sport add on with sky sports bt sports etc. Any one know a good add on for when the pictures scrambled on bt sport? |

We go a firestick when we got Amazon Prime. The Prime movies are abysmal but it is a nifty streamer if you put Kodi on it. We don't use it that often but then again we don't watch masses of tv |

Android boxes are better in my personal opinion can get more stuff on also Apple TV is the best Fire stick is decent though.
Just don't like the layout of a fire stick it's not as nice as a android box also The remotes separate are better. |
