Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
"Working for two days in Victoria "
You're able to go in any direction from Victoria but I'd suggest you take a walk from Victoria down to the River and you can pop into Tate Britain. Or go and see a show. Go to Westminster Cathedral or pop on the tube to Oxford Street. Or just walk to Buckingham Palace; the back garden is practically at the station.
It really depends when is your available time and what interests you.
Look up the Londonist to see what's on when you're here.

"Go to the Horniman or the Hunterian. I've always wanted to do both and never get round to it.
I love the Horniman.
Is that the weird museum with Mick Jagger's condoms? "

I don't remember seeing those. It's got the shrunken heads.

Head towards trafalgar square, wander just beyond and then get yourself lost in and around China town, soho just north of there, Covent Garden to the east and the strand and the Thames to the south..
Get well and truly lost, nip into the alleyways off the strand, you'll be amazed what you find..
When you've had your fill, Use your phone to find your way back..
Alternatively get the underground into the city, do St pauls, head across the river to the tate modern and walk along the southbank to London Bridge to borough market and the shard..
Just explore and don't be afraid to look down the alleyways, especially in the city, there is a whole world in those back lanes..
