I love the Apprenticeship. Edward is a prat, don't like Melody either. The inventor guy looks like he's wearing those comedy glasses with attached eyebrows and Edna, the HR woman had odd looking lipstick. This programme makes me feel so good about myself, thank god I'm not so incrediably stupid |

Is Jim the Irish one? He's the one that looked really scared in the beginning!
I like the one with the specs... he's my sort of geeky. Not sure about the girls... apart from Melody - I quite like that she wouldn't get involved in the bitching with the really young one but she's also quite annoying. |

"I think Suzy will win
You know I think you might be right... although I sort of like Helen's idea.
Jim made me laugh with his chat about coming out with the bravado! "
It's too swayed to Helen... Prepare for a shock |

I absolutely love Margaret, love it when the guys try and use their cheeky chappie flirty routine on her, just the look she gives them - love it.
I want Tom to win, don't think he's the best businessman but he's such a nice bumbling type of guy. I don't like Jim |

Helen is who I think will win, but her business idea is for what is known as a Concierge. The concept has been around for decades.
If Tom wins, may I suggest that with his winnings he goes out and buys a razor! |

I think Suzy, she is a true entrepreneur and with the right guidance can be successful. Tom is a great inventor but no business acumen in general, Helen's idea is not Uniates and she has no experience or contacts. Jim is a typical sales guy, full of shit lol

Wow, that was a turn up for the book!
Mind you when Helen in her inter_iew said that only "expensive" dentists inform their patients by text, how wrong could she be and how out of touch she is. My NHS dentist texts his patients about patients! |

Oh wow how brill its Tom. I wanted him to win, he clearly is not an excellent businessman, but creativity wins through. There are many people who can take an idea and sell it, to create the idea, to have the vision to come up with something in the first, place, is not learned, its from within. |

I was so glad to see the inter_iew concept used for the final. That has always been my favourite 'Apprentice' episode.
That Claude guy makes me nervous about inter_iews just watching him.
Seeing Margaret back was ace.
I did think it was a hard one to call but I do think Tom was a worthy winner in the context of starting a new business as opposed to slotting into a managerial / project role within the Sugar Empire. |

if it was based on last years prize of someone working for him i think Tom would have been fired weeks ago and Helen would have won.
Im glad to see that Lord Sugar will be in touch with Susan about her business idea |

"btw does anyone know of the winners to date, how many of them are still employed within Lord Sugars businesses ?"
Yes, there was an article in the Metro a few months ago... search for "The Apprentice winners: where are they now?" and it's the first link.
Briefly, most have quit their jobs with Alan Sugar. Only 2 (excluding Tom) still work for him, and one of those is on maternity leave. |

Anybody catch the first episode of 'Celebrity Apprentice USA' last night? As ever, fun to watch just to see what Donald Trump's hair is going to do (it never follows the script!)
For me the best moment was Piers Morgan putting down some woman in the boardroom with 'What's your name again? Yes, I know you're a celebrity, I just don't know who you are' - all without even a trace of irony. What an ass he is.
And it features Marilu Henner, who I used to fancy like mad in 'Taxi' (yes I'm THAT old).. |

I *heart* the US Apprentice. I was a fan from day one. Sugar's version is like a flea market in comparison to the US corp[orate weasels.
That woman is Oamarosa. She was in a US Apprentice and a total hated bitch. Which is why she's still in. Trump ain't no fool. She won't win but she'll get ratings because people love to hate her, like they do Piers Morgan. |

For more on Omarosa, or Assorama as Television Without Pity referred to her, check their excellent recaps of season two:
