Didn't really know what this was so checked it out. Like the idea of brining light into people's life as love the mention of sweets! I'm close to Swindon maybe I could pop round for a party!
Happy Diwali to all celebrating. |

May the warmth and splendor of the gleaming diyas add a special grandeur to your life,
May the aura of Lord Ganesha add success and skim out the strife.
May the sound of the mantras resound in your ears,
May they give you peace and wash away all the fears.
Wishing you a happy Diwali |

"Sorry I'm showing my ignorance, what is it exactly?"
Diwali is s Hindu celebration / festival.
It wishes positivity to you and your friends and family and for all the best for the future, it spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. The celebration includes millions of lights shining on housetops, outside doors and windows, with fireworks around temples and other buildings in the communities and countries where it is celebrated. |

Happy Diwali to everyone celebrating. I always enjoyed this time where I last worked as we had a partnership with an Indian design office and had their staff in our office. It always was a special day with lots of really lovely home cooked food. Itis a reminder of what any religion should be about. |

Absolutely. When I have worked with Hindus they have always made the positivism of the Diwali message spill across the workplace at Diwali.
Happy Diwali everyone.
