maybe they have decided after chatting that you're not compatible?
I know ive chatted to lots of guys and then thought no they're not for me

There could be all manner of reasons..
They leave the site,
They decide you are not their cup of tea,
They are busy in the real world
i am sure other people can add to the list,don't take it personally ,chatting always helps. |

Its easier for them not to bother. Better for you than having a message saying you are not up to what she/he/they want.Move on there are lots more here. |

I'm afraid you'll have to get used to it...couples and ladies in particular get so bombarded that they probably loose track who's who...just politely ask them to add you to friends so you can keep in touch. |

even when on friends list they still cant be bothered to say hi to you , has happened to me on a few occasions have sent a message to someone on my friends list they read it but dont bother to reply.... i just dont bother now |

Yes, its true. We rarely send mail to anyone out of the blue to stay in touch unless we are close internet friends. We just answer mail. Its enough to keep us out of trouble. If we dont hear from guys for a while I thin out friends list and delete them (not enthusiastic enough maybe). There is no malice in it, just being practical. |

I get bored if they send me messages and i respond but then when they keep messaging you have nothing to bounce of to reply. Or i forget about people i dont mean to do it. Or there just boring or sometimes the messages just naturally filter out |
