We use the music on the tv sometimes and if the party is in the garden we put our wireless speakers out there.

Spotify is by far the best 10 pound a month i spend, you can put on a song you like and hit the raido button and it will create a playlist of music from that same genre or era so you dont have to keep chaining it perfect for partys, plus you can do the 30 day free trial and cancel after the party but thats naughty

Is there a facility to have a play list going and search for a request, slot it in and continue seamlessly with the playlist?

I use Google play music and that allows it

Yeah click the wee dots next to the song and hit play next...once the song finishes it continues with the playlist. Spotify really is the best, I'm on it all the time and listen to some weird stuff and never been disappointed. There's thousands of playlists made by other users.

We use Apple Music, the playlists aren't as good as what they used to be but the radio functions are great for duscovrring new music.

Might be worth forking out for a months use. You ought to be able to send your "requests" via your mobile. Its excellent on the playstation 4

If you know a friend that uses spotify also then its worth having a chat with them and setting up the family account for £15 a month. Allows upto 5 to use the premium service and is much cheaper for you all.

I use spotify a lot and I know it comes with a free 30 day free trial. If you've never used it before then this is a cheap way for you to get what you want.

Spotify does offer a free level, but you'll have to put up with an advert every three songs or so - hardly conducive to a banging party (or whatever kind of party you're after )

So long as you cancel before the 30 days are out it won't cost you a penny.

Enjoy!
