Looking through profiles I see quite a lot of women who class themselves as a BBW. Some of them I deffo would not class as Big at all.
It makes me wonder if a lot of the women see themselves as big when really they aren't
What is classed as big these days? |

Ultimately its how the woman views herself and if she wants to use the label.
Again is personal interpretation as to what a BBW is.. for some its a clothes size and for others its the overall appearance of a woman's shape.
All of this is of course subjective.
So long as the photographs are accurate then i guess its just personal preference |

i'm a size 16 and i class myself as big, fat, BBW, whatever you want to call it, because to me a size 16 is big, everybody has their own ideas of what big is though, ive been turned down for both being too big and not being big enough |

I don't really know in all honesty, I've seen women that yes, are big, but at the same time in proportion and they look stunning.
I have no clue what size is "big".
Like most I class myself as big, but at the same time I'm small!

I class myself as fat, or curvy and am straight up and honest about his, don't hide it, but have been called awful names by guys who disagreed but the one thing I realise if I want to change it I can once a person is nasty there ain't no changing that |

Think ladies have massive body imagine issues mainly from past experiences with men who dont appreciate what they have

I've never really been that attracted to gym fit men, that's not to say i wouldn't meet one if i got on with him because i have but i find an average body more atractive |

It's a strange one for sure as most of us see size 0's on the tv, in magazines etc and think that anything over a 12 is huge, then on the other hand we see photo's on here of ladies who are 16/18/20's who look so damn sexy and voluptuous and in proportion 
I'm a large lady myself but even I have been told I'm not that big by some guys I've met in the past, I suppose in the end it comes down to the person who is looking at you at that moment in time and their own perception of size |

No but you'd be surprised at how many woman talk to woman. I prefer a well mannered respectful guy nice eyes. Being body beautiful isn't everything. But I see you have gave that guy the for being nasty about woman's vaginas. Maybe you have shallow views on looks over what's inside ? |

Opposite effect for me...fab boosted my confidence knowing I didn't have to be ripped for people to like me.

It was a very ill-informed statement. Of all the men I've met from here only one was ripped and a few were toned. The rest were all shapes and sizes. |

If I called myself curvy I'd risk being insulted. I've been told many times that curvy is being slim with wide hips and a small waist. I'm not that so I don't call myself it. |

I dislike the term bbw but it is used a lot on sites like this so i put it on my profile. Not all big women are beautiful and not all beautiful women are big.
Like a lot of ladies i have had body confidence issues but I'm a lot happier in myself since i joined fab. It's a boost knowing people find you attractive no matter what size or body shape you are. |

There are something like 8 different body types, and you get different sizes in all those types
So most labels don't fit individuals
When I first heard the term bbw, it was a label for those that wore a dress size of 18 plus
Like what you like and don't worry past that I say
Personally not a fan of labels to try and define people.
Use your eyes! They'll tell you if you like what you see |

I'm big. I don't think I have a skewed image of myself. Or many confidence issues (just the usual insecurities). I realise I may fit some types, and not others. But I'm okay with that. I'm just enjoying the ride |

The average dress size in the UK is a size 16 so technically that should be average. The solution however would be for women to provide profile shots then there would be no misinterpretation of descriptions... |

I'm fat. My description says curvy, that's because there isn't a 'fat' option and I don't really like the word 'large'.
However, size is subjective and what you see isn't how other may see themselves.
