in the gym today, I heard a scram then seen this fat woman fall on the treadmill and made a thud baby elephant and was thrown off it and belly flopped on the floor which made another thud and no one helped her!

I couldn't help her cause I f..ked off to the other side of the gym to spare her feelings as I was pissing myself laughing

It must have taken a great deal of courage for that woman to have even walked into that gym let alone use the equipment in public.

I bet she had been struggling with doing it for weeks months even before she actually joined.

I hope some one helped her and she continues to go there.

Not everyone gets obese through over eating there are other factors so 10/10 to her for doing something about it.

I recently started cycling and didn't realise how tiring it was, or I was just really unfit. I see larger people cycling, persistent and going uphill, some struggling, some finding it a breeze. I'd never ridicule them because they are doing something to change themselves for the better and doing more than I am.

The description of the lady in the OP says a bit more than someone tripping on a treadmill.

I used to be overweight I didn't lack self control. I comfort ate after losing 4 babies. Been overweight is no laughing matter people eat for also sorts of reasons but often guilt is associated with over eating so you eat more. Food was the one constant thing in my.life. you have no idea what's behind this woman, what her story is or how she became overweight yet you seek to ridicule her without knowing her. Empathy for people goes along way

You seem to think it's ok, but I'm sure you'll come up with 'oh they'll never see this' rubbish. There's no need for the descriptive words though "fat" "baby elephant" "belly flopped" all associated with someone on the larger side.

If it was a skinny woman you wouldn't have felt the need to be so descriptive, but society deems those overweight as people to be looked at and made to feel ashamed due to their size, but when they opt to do something about it then individuals feel the need to point it out, but not so much in a good way.

wait so it's my fault they got fat from eating to much and having no self-control...it's people like me's fault cause they end up in an early grave ?...god forbid it's their fault!

and I actually did the right thing and walked away cause I don't think her seeing me laughing would of made her feel good!

we all laugh at people doing stupid things but we dont ridicule them and we check their ok. My son fell all the way down the stairs and landed on his feet the other day. But i knew he was ok and i wouldnt of had to come on the forums and describe his body"

and too many people who think it is their god given right to shame and humiliate others and take no responsibility for the fact that their action have wide reaching consequences.

No....you are not directly responsible for people's food choices, no you arfe not the main reason for people getting fat....you have played no part in my obesity and i am a strong enough person not to let your childish, playground arguments have any effect on my current journey.

but the fact is that someone, anyone, not even the poor lay you are ridiculing, may be taking their first steps to changing their lives only to read that gyms are full of immature fucking pricks just looking for them to fail so they can have a good old belly laugh at their misfortune.

Again you have no clue....it's not about the laughing, I'm sure we'd all laugh just not decide to start a forum thread about it and abuse fat people and not care about the ripple (haha see what I did there?) effect your words can have on vulnerable people....it must be extremely difficult to be so perfect....I for one am glad I'm not!
