"as god doesn't exist its a moot point
Can you be certain though ? Show me your proof
show me yours first! (proof that is )"
There is no concrete black and white proof or cctv footage etc saying she aint real or is real
I think that if there is a god then got to have been female |

So here's the thing....
In all the universe and all creation the most amazingly complex thing we know of is the human brain......surely it would therefore seem churlish to use that brain to dismiss all possibility the brain is the result of design...
Or meringue |

Apparently we ( humans ) have just forgotten how to use the rest of our brains ? |

There is a lot we don't understand and it's fair to say there might well be things we once understood but no longer seem to remember... |

Correction, in all the known universe, which is about 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000(oh I could go on ) 1 %
The human brain is the most complex, however whales have a much bigger brain with roughly the same neurones, squids eat their own brains and there's tiny creatures with only about 300 neurones that manage to do quite well with them......I find the trouble with complexity is its way to complex to read about for any period of time which is a bit annoying coz I quite like it |

Granted you seem to be doing a good job of it, but I think you are putting far too much effort into not understanding things...

I once watched a programme by that D-ream fella that was meant to, once and for all, explain the main problem with the Big Bang Theory (ie "Ok, but who made the Big Bang?).
His answer was a previous universe collapsing in on itself. Which I felt somewhat missed the point of the original question (But at least made me think, when talking about Pop Stars-turned Physicists-turned Theologians "Things can only get better"
OP: Without digging out my copy of Robert Graves's Greek Myths, I seem to recall that God, as the creator of all life, did start off as a woman. It was men who changed it...

I had a quick peek for a precis on Wiki, the two phrases that jumped out at me were "not comprehensible" and "widely panned"

They were getting away with the idea of the bible being a true story, and then dinosaur bones turned up and fucked it right up
If there is a god, then surely they would be too far advanced to have a physical form let alone a gender. Its the puny minds of men that can't comprehend anything existing beyond what you can grope, and it was those same men that wrote the books that haver caused millions to die over the past couple of millennia.
All the banging on about loving your fellow man, yet there are kidsstarving to death all over the world, while the pope is surrounded by wealth, beyond our wildest dreams, well I hope the use some of that money to find a way to push a camel through the eye of a needle.
And if you find my post offensive, you're a Christian....... Forgive me! |

Of course, in a *properly* designed universe, the shed door would know when to stay open and when not to. Ours always closes bloody-mindedly at the most inopportune moments. (which of course gives credence to the "female god" camp...)

So does mine, it sits there happily until either you want to walk through it or you've just turned the light off before slamming shut with incredulity |
