I'm not that fond of cake, unless it's a loaded fruit cake.
I can't stand cup cakes with sickly fondant icing; in fact, I don't like any icing.
I'll eat a small piece of very light Victoria sponge with fresh cream and strawberries and the occasional piece of birthday cake, to join in with the celebrations. |

Vodka jelly 
Vodka is about the only booze I haven't bothered to cook with as it tastes of nothing - maybe make toffee vodka and make a chocolate ganache pot with it??

I can take it or leave it most of the time as to whether I eat it. However I do like cake but try not to indulge. Cheese and crisps are my go to food when I have the munchies, usually caused by having a glass of wine, beer or a cocktail in my hand.
So I try to restrict my alcohol intake to Fridays and Saturdays now. |

You'd like my cup cakes, I make chocolate sponge mix but grate galaxy chocolate into the mixture so when it cooks you have galaxy chocolate pieces through the cake, I spread melted galaxy on top and grate more galaxy on top. Orrrr if I'm doing them for grown ups I pour a bit of mixture in the case then put a ferreroh Roche in each cake and pour the rest of the mixture on top! They're really nice. |

I do them with the red Lindt chocolate balls in them as well. I'm actually quite a bakey person if I'm honest, my shortbread is out of this world as well. Xmas time now I have a Xmas tree template so I make Xmas tree shaped shortbread and dip the the tree tips in galaxy. |

Chocolate cake is my pet hate as most are made with that crappy cooking chocolate and or cocoa powder. Yours sound tempting. |
