"What's everyone's favourite restaurant they have been to recently?"
It no longer exists but it was a Sicilian restaurant here in central London.
I fell in love with the chit chat between the grumpy (lovely really) husband and cheerful wife over Pollo verdi.
They moved back to Sicily and now it's an Indian takeaway but I have the brass plate with the name of the restaurant and a tile from the wall of the dining area.
I loved that place.
Haven't really felt that way about a restaurant since. |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I have one all time favourite in North London. I haven't been this year though. A seafood one that I really liked has just closed. Now there is a Tapas place that I keep taking people to as the food is fresh, phenomenally good and they have a separate gin menu.

Our pre-club lunch place of choice currently is a local pub that does great food at not too unreasonable prices and just seems to help get us in the mood for the night ahead. There's nothing particularly sexy about the place other than it now being where we go for lunch before coming home to get ready to head to VA.

I couldn't say - it's a unique one establishment affair that offers good pricing, great menus and really well prepared food in a cosy environment. It's almost stretched to the limit, so I daren't name it. Sorry |

Got a little Italian restaurant in West Horndon called le bicicletta..I think that's the correct spelling..
Just one stop on the train for me so pretty handy.
The food is amazing and the trick with this place is to go with what the chef suggests..it's always a very pleasant surprise..
It's also the place my old man took my mum for their first date..It's been around for like an age so they have gotta have done something right.

Ours are miles away.
The Rest and be thankful at Wheddon Cross on Exmoor.
And the Plume of Feathers in Princetown on Dartmoor.
Both serve excellent food which seems twice as good after a long hike. |

We like the Mucky Duck and St James's, usually end a night at BGHS with a pub crawl and end up at either of those two. |
