Travelling down from Glasgow on Tuesday and staying at a hotel near the Trafford Centre; any recommendations for things to do apart from shopping

It all depends on what you want to do?

Lots of sights to see and places to visit. It is the best City in the world but I am a little biased!

Football fans would be alright.

Museums are s plenty and lovely buildings if your into that. And get over to Media City in Salford quays.

Shopping I can do no problem but drinking isn't my thing. Salford Quays looks nice - might try there as I prefer to go somewhere different rather than another shopping mall that could be in any part of the country. Thanks.
