1) built a hammock out of an old towel and some fibreboard for the ferrets.
2) lost a few more lbs
3) went out for a few good walks with my crutches and knee brace, I think it's about 5 miles in 3 days (I feel sore but good!)
4) got the job I went for.
Can't think of anything non-selfish that make me feel good or proud though |

(Extract from my own thread)
I woke up.
Have a roof over my head.
People that love me.
A job to go to.
Totally awesome shoes (they pinch but add 3 inched)
Drove to work in record time (the green light was my friend)
Got a free bread roll with my surprisingly delicious soup.
Received compliment on aforementioned awesome shoes.
Left work on time to make it to parents evening.
Confirmed at parents evening that the little peep totally rocks the school thing.
Chippy chips

Nope, that one would have required a couple of hours travelling on public transport to get to, so I'm gonna try for something like that when I'm all fixed up and stick with things closer to home for now
I'm looking forward to starting this one though |

Gave blood as well, and I'm trying to use my contacts at the university to set up a volunteer and work experience scheme to help those from working class backgrounds who have an interest in science. |

Put new batteries in my daughters' Frozen fairy lights because she has developed a fear of the dark since the nights started drawing in. Made my 3 year old fall asleep happy! |

I bit the bullet and agreed to eat half the pizza my son made at school...
it looked (and tasted disgusting) but I kept smiling and told him it was the best pizza I'd ever eaten...to say he was chuffed was an understatement |

I've been listening to a friend who has some problems at the moment, not sure I'm helping as I've never been in her situation and tomorrow Im donating to a workmates Just Giving page as she is cutting her hair off so it can be used for wigs, in memory of a 13 year old boy who passed away recently. Good luck, hope it works out..
I am a stem ambassador, I love going and getting kids interested in the sciences.. But then I have a pretty cool job as far a 10 year old is concerned so it's pretty easy to get them engaged. |

Nothing wrong with that.. As a scuba diver, when I can I have been involved in a few clean ups in the canals, groping around in zero visibility for rubbish.
If we all do a little bit to help it makes a huge difference. |

"I had a wank. Does that count?"
That certainly does..
Medical fact.. Knocking one out helps reduce your chances of testicular cancer..
I'm surprised that cancer research never took up my slogan suggestion..
"A wank a day keeps the dr at bay"... |

I made Lancashire Hot Pot and braised red cabbage for my dinner and plated up some for my elderly neighbour who has just lost his wife. He was absolutely delighted and gave me a hug.
I also groomed my beautiful dog and for being so good, gave her her favourite treats. She gave me a lick.
Nice |

I try to do one good deed a day so today i opend the door for a young girl with her child in pushchair took a friend shopping help a lady with her shopping trolley
the most inspiring thing ive done this year is drive to Yorkshire and help complete strangers raise money for flood victims to see complete strangers from all over the uk come together to help others was quite humbling
I always belive charity beguins at home and to be kind to a stranger may just may make someones life a little nicer |
