Swinging without being "fab".

I've found, over time, that fab really has sucked the joy and fun out of swinging. When one visits a club on a really good night it can be the best feeling in the world, and I feel like I want to do it again the very next night. However, when you experience time away from clubs and you end up here, reading people's "look at me's" and even worse imo "woe is me's". Plus the NIMBY's. I can't be the only one standing naked in the rain shouting "WHY GOD?! WHY ISN'T IT FUN ANYMORE ? IT WASN'T MENT TO BE LIKE THIS!!!!".
When did swinging become about straight men wanting other men to suck their dicks in laybys? Or single women in their 30's and 40s wondering why the single men in their 30s and 40s turn out not be single, even though they could only meet during the day? The constant "is my dick to big/ small/bendy"! Etc etc etc...

I've not been to a club. But most sex contact sites are a bit like Fab so it's not just this site that makes you feel a bit  . I've come to the conclusion that folk who like a bit of extra sex are a bit testy unless they're doing it. |

Where's the sexy gone?squabbling kids, fuck, sucking and avoiding each other. Fair enough the lounge shouldn't be a sex fest. But swingers chat. "Swingers" chat! It's gone wrong. Clubs are fun, i go often, the forums are less fun these days, come here less often.. the ratio of attendance, definitely slides according to the fun factor...

For new lifestylers the forums must be a mindfuck for them . Full of mindless drivell , fab my pics , fuck or pass , only here for the chat , cakes , popcorn etc.......
And when genuinely helpful topics come up , the type of thread which could show what a fun filled choice sexual liberation can be - they invariably get hijacked and spoilt by killjoys .
Of course we could enjoy fab without the forums , and of late we haven't spent much time on fab or the forums as it has become a bit drab . But having been in the lifestyle for five and a half years we can't help but pop in and out to see how things are in fab world . |

I dunno. I speak to a few good people, you get out what you put in I guess.
Clubs do appeal in a sense and maybe it's the forums that put me off going as a single person. |

go..dont let people on here spoil your own experiences of the swing scene..for every one crappy experience 100 great ones are going on...dont miss out because of other people..i have the odd crappy experience but i remember all the great ones and they far outweigh the others xx |

I visited a club with another woman as a couple. But I'd need a lot more courage to walk in on my own. It one thing being ignored in a forum. It would be another face to face. |

I don't mind some of the fluffy threads as they are a bit of a giggle but I do agree that the threads specifically about swinging do often get hijacked by piss takers and the judgmental.

Cupids. I found fab after looking into swinging it looked a perfect place to start. I can't compare to how much different they both are socialy. But I do know that human interaction normally requires a little more sensitivity when talking. so that would be welcomed. |
