I'm sorry, OP.
Yes, I do have memories that I think of when I'm not at my happiest. They tend to involve my dad, and they are special to me.
I hope your spirits lift soon. |

Zombie by Cranberries OP. Played it the day I lost my mother when I was 18. Find it very difficult to listen to now. Shame, as I loved that song. I'm sorry to hear you are in a bad place right now. Virtual hugs x |

"Do you have a song, a movie, a picture or a memory that you recall if things are tough and sad for you. In one of those places at the moment "
I write, lots.
I'm in a funk at the moment too.
We will rise up and conquer our corner of the world tomorrow.
Liste to 'Oh Yoko' by John Lennon.
It always gets me smiling.

The song I play is amazing Grace which takes me back to my late Granpa who was blind sat playing the organ.
Gives me goosebumps then slowly a smile." |

Velociraptor by Kasabian always makes me think of the day I spent with a young lady I used to know, particularly one magical day we spent together
Conversely " I'm Not Yours" by. Angus and Julia Stone, kills me.Same girl, different occasion |

Nice smells, a perfume or aftershave that brings back nice memories, remind me of my parents who arent here anymore, or certain times. scented candles, little things like that. coming across old photos of being on holiday and my dogs who arent here anymore. Listening to old songs from the 80s, watching old programes and films. my mum used to like bette davis films so i sometimes like to watch them as it reminds me of her and when we watched them, i have a film that we both last watched together in the 80s and it made my mum cry.
Just seeing funny pictures or stories on facebook, funny cat videos, nice pictures of nature and animals.
Watching a comedy that you like i have lots i like mostly old ones like dave allan and steve coogan. |

I just cry. I find a good cry, followed by a hot cup of strong tea and a decent nights sleep tends to put me back on an even keel.
Well as even as my keel gets anyway.
