of course it is lol....even when i chatted online to people online years ago...it was rather intense...I seen some actually cross the pond a few times.....and ive pretty much maintained friendships that may take me there or vice versa....of course most i chatted to werent swingers lol...prob be a shock when i take em to a club or something lol |

it happened with my ex and I...when we finally met face to face it just clicked.5 years later he decided he did not love me any more...but we did fall for each other before we physically met |

yeah it is so easy to fall for someone on line..and they can be really intense feelings.. trouble is when things go wrong and they dont measure up in the flesh you still get hurt

Before i had a computer i used to here about people meeting on the internet. I laughed, thought it ridiculous. How could you possibly have feelings for someone you type to, after all typing is cold, no emotion, just words.
But the first person i chatted to on the internet made me completely change my mind. It was a guy and we became firm friends to this day. It started general then more personal about family ect and i actually found myself saying things to him that i would never have said to someone id known in person for that short length of time.
Now i have friends from all over the world. Some ive met, some i hope to meet and some i will never meet |

One of my close friends was scammed within a week of joining one. (well i stopped it) You have to be very vigilant once you know the messages stand out a mile but there are some very clever people out there and a lot of vulnerable men and women "looking for love" who have low self esteem and once someone shows them attention they get hooked |

not asking for specific websites here,, but if you don't recommend dating sites for 'meeting' people.. am i wrong to presume you met your respective partners through sites like fabs then? |

was on POF once, within the first week I'd been latched onto by a scammer a stalker and a couple of married guys wanting cam/phone fun. At least here you know what people want without them bullshitting you about 'true and lasting love' |

maybe explains why some peeps post threads on here moaning about being stalked by (in the main, but not exclusively) males (some genuinely single, others "playing away")
in real life it is hard to strike up a conversation with a woman you have never met, yet "online" peeps will enter into a dialogue = and some take that responsiveness as a sign that she lurves him  |
