There's loads of cool pets around the uk. What cool/strange pets do people have?
We pretty much have a reptile and insect zoo that take up loads of our time. We love them all tho and we always laugh at what others must say about us. Gets you thinking about what other people must have |

Not sure about insects - eek - but would love to have reptiles if we had the space to house them properly. Love bearded dragons, maybe even an iguana ... but am not sure even if you need a licence for one of those!
We just have cats .... which aren't particularly strange. Though we have had up to five at a time which tends to make other people think *you're* strange
If we ever got the big lottery win style house with 'grounds' I'd get peacocks too ...

"I have a very large garden spider that I've been feeding through the summer when the web has been empty.
Counts as a bit weird, right? "
I like that, despite my fear of the fuckers. But you're a good person |

She's beautiful, got the coolest looking sword like markings down her back. I've been chucking dead flies for her to munch on when times have been lean. |

Nope, fascinating creatures, and he'll no doubt tell all his friends about you so they don't hide under your quilt cover and crawl up your leg when your tucked up in bed |

2 stray cats, who happen to like me, but barely tolerate each other, although they both chose out of their own free will, to take up residence here, and choose to stay around.... worse than kids |

Our old cat Martin did this, just started sleeping on the car in the summer by the winter he was part of the family. "Martin the Marmalade cat" Got on famously with Peter our other cat

I have a house full of long skinny spiders.
And slugs have crawled in through my front and back doors.
And my garden is a playground for a local fox and a couple of hedgehogs.
That's enough animals for me! |

As a kid I had rabbits, ferrets, goats, hamsters, guinea pigs, hens, geese, a dog, and several cats. Not all at the same time though. The strangest were the goats and a bantam cockerel called Paxo. He showed no interest whatsoever in his lady friends, but was particularly keen on the female pheasants that resided in the woods behind the house.

To be honest I was a bit frightened of them. Some were lovely but others were the spawn of Satan! |

It shares a tank with other small fish, limpets, periwinkles and urchins. They are not pets though, just the lobster. |

I have a black cat that guards the underworld and the demons within it (takes the kids up to bed and sits with them until they are asleep then lays in the doorway)
That's a bit weird for a cat! |
