According to the BBC, the Lib Dem candidate for Westerhope who was standing in yesterday's local election has been found dead.
The article goes on to report that, "It is expected that the candidates death will invalidate the results"

BBC in 'employing fuckwits with no idea about electoral law' non shocker.
What they mean to say is, even if another candidate wins, there would have to be a re-run and, a a result, the votes will not be counted. Technically, if you find out before the poll opens that X is dead, you don't even open the poll. |
