Clothing crisis

Off on a shopping spree to freshen up the club/going out wardrobe.

Never been a huge fashion follower but prefer to play it safe with trousers and shirt but I've seen more and more men in tight fit trousers with turn ups and no socks.

No idea if this is the look women go for now or just a fad trend that will disappear next week.

Is playing it safe making me just blend in too much?

Nothing beats style and class which has nothing to do with fashion. The no sock look is ridiculous to me but then again im not fashionable.

I'm very much a wear what you feel comfortable wearing type of person as if your comfortable and confident in your clothes then you won't blend in as confidence is attractive.

As for turn up jeans no socks - they look like bell ends in my opinion

maybe I'm just getting old and grumpy, but I refuse to wear anything my kids regard as fashionable

Oh I adore dressing a man!

Good jeans, shirts, blazers, fitted tees, jumpers

Socks yes, do not follow that trend!

In Essex it's a year round thing.

Be you...no one wants a clone, especially not an Essex clone!

Thanks for all the advice. Sticking to what I'm used to wearing.

Might even buy some extra thick socks

Yes its true Essex are a well dressed lot but not all of them are over the top, I personally dress for the occasion which can range from suited & booted to tight jeans no socks soft shoes lol.

If i want good current fashion i buy from the south of France or Spain but other than that normal shops like Primarks Debenham or Peacocks do me.

First thing you notice about someone in normal vanilla life is their appearance & its even more important when swinging so yes a good sense of dress is important.

I would agree. Turnups and no socks looks beyond cunty on the vast majority of men. I don't really do fashion - I know what I like and what suits me and I go with that.

Freddie my style consultant tells me that coloured socks are really the thing. Try to blend or contrast colours, i.e make it look considered. Turnups can be good, especially when you want to show off your fine bootage.

Definitely wear socks! Aside from that, I think wear what you like. I like men in hats, to me it shows confidence and now it's winter you'll be keeping toasty too

The only time I do the 'turn ups' is while rescuing a damsel in distress in the middle of a puddle..

It's him if you weren't sure
