chatrooms are better..it's a fact in my opinion..regardless of undesirables, I just think realtime chat trounces this platform...

I like chatting,having a laugh,maybe wanking,but I appear to see more active people in chat than I do here.

even if its not for PERV aspects...we could all realtime chat....but dont watch me as i google stastics

I ventured in a while ago, I like to get a feel for the way things work, watch and observe before I jump in , in there I found it quite difficult to work out who was talking to who and what they're on about , it all seemed a bit frantic ..

Loads of people use the forums for chatting and what should be in private messages. Its not good and I just can't see why they are doing it. I like a discussion and or debate and to hear peoples opinions on things. To be honest its not usually what they like sexually that interests me. Pretty boring here these days ...'

Chats ok I suppose but the pm windows are a pain. If you're halfway through typing a reply to someone and a new window opens it jumps straight to it and you finish up typing half a message that makes no sense to someone you've never chatted to before.

Besides...... I usually finish up naked somehow or other..... I should give it up really and stick to the forums lol.

Some five years ago , when we first joined fab , we went into the chat rooms . We even put cam shows on !

That lasted for about a fortnight , by which time we had about ten meets , and we just dropped it .

But I do have to agree that the chances of meeting someone who you may actually meet are way higher in chat than on the forums .

We don't really use fab anywhere as much as we used to . It has become somewhat drab , and the social side has overtaken the reality of meeting up for NSA sex .

Maybe we need to get back into the chat rooms

I dislike the chatrooms though admittedly I've only tried it twice, but it wasn't for me.

Too much fluffiness, lovey dovey or sex talk. I may be a swinger but I don't particularly want to constantly chat about it or suck up to others. I feel the forums have more depth, even though there is also a fluffy element to, but I just ignore all that on the forum and you can't do that in chat, it's either join in or log out.

I've always loved the frums but there isnt nothing like getting feedback from someone you like on a real time basis...the only things forums do(in fab in this case) is see us all talking shite...

part from the few ive met through here..am always amazed at them not even meeting people that never use forums...and fab is a great place..why not explore..its easy to stop unwanted attention..

I am not using the forum to look for people as I think that should be in private messages. I use them site to meet people but not the forums. They are for discussion and debate, apart from the specific meet forums, that's what I assumed. Are we only allowed to talk about sex here? To be honest, most people could sum up what they are looking for in a couple of sentences .... this is a better thing to discuss in person, surely? Not on the forums?

Of course people can talk about other subjects , and yes , some would use their opinions on all matter of subjects as a filter ( if they were looking to meet them of course ) .

But what I'm saying is that on a site like this , to say what people like sexually ( or not ) is bound to be a major topic . Just as a fishing site would discuss bait , hooks etc....

The forums do throw the odd subject which sparks debate and discussion which really gets everyone thinking . Usually of a sexual nature . And that's good . When the subject matter is political or about cake recipes it seems totally irelevent to me .

Been a (very) regular user of the chatrooms for over 7 years... in fact I'm in Welsh chat now as I type this.

Newbies are very welcome, so long as you keep to the rules, and practice makes keeping up and keeping a convo going easy.

You should all try it for a few days, you might surprise yourselves and find realtime interaction pleases you lol.

If you've been here a while or read profiles though, you'll know what people's sexual profiles are .... and most people here are pretty entrenched in their views, ne they sexual or otherwise. I don't see a massive amount of openness sexually ... anti married, anti bi men, anti single guys .... there are so many people not open to even a sexual debate. I can't imagine how boring the forums would be if they were just discussing sex .... people get very defensive and personal if they have to do anything more than state their opinion. Its a real pity because I really enjoy a good debate but people batten down the hatches early on

I've always loved the frums but there isnt nothing like getting feedback from someone you like on a real time basis...the only things forums do(in fab in this case) is see us all talking shite...

part from the few ive met through here..am always amazed at them not even meeting people that never use forums...and fab is a great place..why not explore..its easy to stop unwanted attention..

I only meet people that don't use the forum (apart from very few special exceptions) due to the lack of privacy most forumites seem to thrive on.

We were chat roomers before coming here and had loads of fun in there. They can be cliquey though especially if you're in a room with long termers. Feels a little bit like that double skipping rope game when you wait for the timing to be just right and then you jump in and keep up with the speed of it, it's fun when you do and you don't have to keep up with everything which is a good thing. View it as a load of threads going on at the same time and choose your thread.

Takes me ages to type and I have to look at the keyboard while typing,so by the time I look back at the screen I'm playing catch up with the convos.

I can either type out a message (slowly!) or look at what's being said on screen...I can't do both without it feeling like hard work!

Prefer the chilled pace of the forums where I can still do whatever I'm doing between posting at my leisure n not miss out on anything due to a fast scrolling screen.
