You have contacted the police.. I would leave it up to them... I think the laws are much tougher now I know it's a nuisance but we'll you could have a profile with friend only pics etc.. until the storm blows over

I'd say with the police involved, you've got it covered. But surely Facebook admin can help too?

Correct but in my experience trolls have a habit of becoming stalkers sometimes

I'd say with the police involved, you've got it covered. But surely Facebook admin can help too?

Facebook. Have been removing posts when reported. Police dont seem to be doing anything. Been 11 days now. Yes the troll has become a stalker. Profile is cleared down. But. Guy still thinks its fun to post our latest crap profile

Change all your pics to private,if you can manage to get a pic of him (assuming it's a guy) do so then plaster copies all over town with something really slanderous written underneath,if you can get his number/email and any other details then do so n proceed to make lots of profiles for him on gay hook up sites!

If it's that serious, why on earth have you not either turned your profile blank, taken pictures off it, and/ or hidden it, or even deleted it and ( if you must, ) start a new profile?

Seems basic security to me.

The guy will always have a link to your current profile - and if you ever want to meet again you can't stay hidden forever!

Unfair I know - but I'd suggest you delete your current profile - leave it a short while - then come back with a new profile with no public face pics!

'Outing' fab members on Facebook has become depressingly common!

Hide your profile and let the police deal with it.. I went through it myself a few years ago and it's not nice. Also, the more you post on forums, then the more they will feed off it...

It is now illegal to troll and they could get up to 2 years in jail, with the new law.

We changed the profile and pics are private/freinds only. Staying on site to keep contacts and trying to.gain evidence

Youve had advice from Admin following your other threads on this, and the Police are now involved.

Its probably best not to give the person causing the trouble any more airtime by keep posting about them in the forums so Im going to close this now sorry
