Meet him a few time when they played Glasgow, he was/is mad as a bag of monkeys.
There were few girls in Punk, but to name two Gay Advert (the black makeup) and Ari Up (cut the album cuts) once a perv always a perv. |

As sic boy said Gay Advert was a fave of mine also.
In the late 90's I used to drink quite often with TV Smith when he was up my neck of the woods gigging and he was still married to her then, jammy bastard. She unfortunately had packed gigging in and didn't come up with him
I also think Siouxsie Sioux is fucking gorgeous. |

I'm a little to young for punk as i was only 4 in '76 but Adam Ant was my first idol (and arguably first crush!). Finally saw him live twice last year, an awesome (if weird) couple of gigs. Saw him before the gig but was to starstruck to speak though! Still looked cool.

Totally. The first gig, afterwards, back on stage and reading from lemmy's biography. This goes on till it's painful, friends trying to get him off stage, crowd booing and he kjust abused everyone for not liking the book. A few days before he played a few songs at a bar in Camden and was almost sectioned as a reulst of his reaction to the police routinely turning up to check. |

Totally agree..she was around 30 when she hit the punk scene..so, considered 'old'..but IMO and the wifes, she was the horniest of the lot of them. |

it was the female speaking.....but even if it wasnt, what does it matter...and actually he's bi....but does that really matter either. If someone makes good music, then i dont care what their creed, colour or sexuality is. |

I would contribute to this thread with my memories of the era…. but I spent most of it wasted.
I do remember many a post gig night being spent sleeping in station waiting rooms after buying a platform ticket for something like 20p…. along with probably 30-40 other punks…. We should have lined up the sleeping bags in order of hair colours to make a rainbow.
My favourite gig by far was Dead Kennedys… but god knows what city we were in.

I wouldn't have hiked that far.... I remeber the place had big marble columns in the entrance if that helps .... I remeber that as there was a lad trying to climb one. |
