What does swinging mean to you?

We are all here for very different reasons and all in different situations so what was it about the swinging lifestyle that struck a chord with you and made you realise this where you belonged?
For me it's almost like a social grooming/bonding experience. I've always been a touchy feely person, I crave touch, it calms me, but vanilla friends are very conscious of keeping distance in case lines are blurred, partners get jealous, someone gets the wrong idea. In swinging friendships physical bonding is positively encouraged.

I love what you've written here, it resonates with me in many ways. There's an aspect for me of healing myself here too, but that's an internal thing.

When I originally joined 4 years ago my reasons and intentions were completely different. Never did I think I would meet so many great people and eventually become friends with them, but I did. So now when I go out or meet new people, I do so with the intent of having a time which is relaxed and enjoyable. I never expect sex and if I find someone that takes my fancy and its mutual, then that's a bonus.

Sometimes its sheer lust and a desire to fuck with an urgent need and hunger. At others it's caring and tender, truly sensual and a moment of connecting and feeling both safe and giving that to another. |

It's a relief to talk to and have sex with people who understand and encourage you to be open. |

If you say swinging I immediately think Louis Theroux documentary with middle aged couples with car keys in a bowl
For me personally though this site is a way of me and Mr A to invite singles to our home and have 3 somes.....friendship doesn't come into it x |

I've had boyfriends in the past but never wanted to settle with any. One I went out with for 8 months, we constantly got interupted by an ex of his, another ex came up to me and said he beat her up, she left him with their kids, he never saw him, etc etc... then at the Christmas he was supposed to be coming up and never appeared, he did call me though allegedly from a call box in glasgow so say the car had broken down... something told me he was lying, so phoned the number back, a lad answered and told me the call box was actually in Kilmarnock not far from ex's gran's house. He had infact just gotten married to the ex.
Another ex after another 8 months, began to put me down all the time, told me my cooking was shite ( i already knew that! but he was no better) when driving, I'd indicate to go a specific way and he's turn it off, and tell me to go a different way - so got rid of him, but kept his dog lol
so sorry guys, I don't want to be around you all the time, but I still crave attention and sex.... but happy living my life the way I want too.

I've met lots of people who I have really gotten on with and we have stayed in contact I wouldn't class any of them friends though
To me a friend is somebody that is part of your open life, somebody who you meet up with for a drink, invite to your home, knows your kids, knows where you live etc not somebody you meet on the sly because you don't want anybody else knowing your meeting them 
I suppose you could call them swinging friends |

I joined to find like minded people who want to push their sexual boundaries. I have changed so much in the last few years about the things I like and crave, being on here is like a drug. I want to explore which is something that didn't happen in marriage.. I don't want to get old and have regrets about the things that could of been fun With people who enjoy the same things I enjoy |

We see it as adult playtime and a way to provide angel's desire for women with the lady parts i can't provide, obviously i have to have sex with 2 women at the same time, which is just such a bind
