no, i thought it was interesting.
well, i decided to go for honest coz i can't deal with bullshit and if that makes me hated for it i don't really care. feel like deleting my profile anyway.

I used to be on pof, and on another swingers site but now only on here, as everyone from both sites are on here anyway, plus I believe if you want to get into a relationship with someone from here there is absolutely nothing stopping you... |

I'm on both.
To be honest, I seldom receive a first message from someone on either. And most first messages that I have sent have simply been deleted.
But both sites offer socials and events to attend, which I do find to be quite effective.
The trouble is I believe for two reasons. Firstly, a written message doesn't really convey our true personality.
Secondly, being able to select an ideal partner through tick-boxes is a recipe for disaster. Being able to select a partner according to their hair colour, eye colour, birth sign, political leanings and shoe size sounds great at first. However, each tickbox that we select reduces the number of potential matches. I do strongly believe that it's also incredibly shallow to either reject or accept a potential partner based on the colour of their hair or eyes.
Even for one off encounters, there is a necessity for some "chemistry", for that "je ne sais quoi" for the meeting to be a memorable success.
I really would date a swinger as I would feel that she could be completely honest with me and that I could be completely honest with her.

I have noticed that pof claim that by using the meet me function, then you are also telling the pof algorithms what kind of people you do and don't want to meet. Which in turn means that when you click on my matches, you should get matches who are more of a match.
Sadly, the problem with meet me is, people become frustrated because unless you're paying to subscribe, you can't actually see who wants to "meet you".
I do have a handy hint though, use a windows phone and you can see who wants to meet you! for free!

funny thing is if i click on 'who wants to meet me' i get told i have to upgrade to see them. but i'm getting told who they are anyway.
i can't access anyone from the who wants to meet me page only nor from the phone messages but i can use name search to see their profiles. |

There are a few - I went dancing with one the other day - damn good dancer anyway, and I am ignoring the texted double entendre that have followed lol! 
Yesterdays offering was a swinger - my first line was 'Are you a swinger then?' because he talked about spending 6 months of the year in Cap d'Agde. 'How did you guess he asked......??' 
Today's hot prospect has one pic that looks like it was taken off the front of a 'Just for Men' packet lol!! Last night i mentioned on the forums (before deleting my old account) that i could use the name search to see who wants to meet me as i get their names in email. Since then everyone in email has no name now and is called 'someone'.

POF is exhausting!
I'd say that nearly everyone I have spoken to or met on there has had some serious character flaws!
Maybe it's my age group - they come with a lot of baggage - and most have small children and a bitter ex in the picture!
At least on here everyone is married so you don't have to worry about having to take on other people's children

It's up to you but it's not all an officer and a gentleman....for those who have served 22+ plus years often are emotionally and mentally unattached. There are of course some who are lovely but the good friends that I have that are ex military are some what emotionally void...it's up to you but don't look at it through rose tinted glasses |

It's like you saying you want a baby and me saying oh I don't think you'd like it, don't look at that decision through rose tinted glasses, it's not easy blah blah blah, it's like who the fuck am I to tell you anything just because I've had a child, it's your life, I wouldn't come at you like I was the messiah on all things child related.
