Ok guys and girls,
Mainly aimed at the singles
Some of you have fantastic pictures on your profiles, how have you managed to take these on your own, pictures that are clearly not selfies, are these delayed shutter selfies or have you all hired a kinky photographer I don't know about?? |

yeah we do.
it was more an embarrassed laugh really. dunno why but i felt shy with my ex, but then it did get more fun as i couldn't get one body stocking on so just wrapped it round my neck and got him to take a stupid looking pic. nice memory that actually.

Mine aren't great but apart from the obvious ones taken by someone else the ones in my public gallery are all selfies. PhotoBooth on my laptop through the webcam and a 3 second countdown from hitting the enter key to the pic being taken. |

I'm an eejit so really on mirrors, selfies or friends.

You make it sound as though balancing a camera, focusing it on yourself, setting the timer, running across the room, picking up your wife, flipping her over, climbing into the shower and posing in such a way to obscure both your faces, all in 10 seconds, is somehow easy for me simply because I am part of a couple.

A couple of mine were taken by a pro tog, the rest are selfies. It's easy to see which are which.
I use blue tac now, use a dab to fix your phone to the wall, reverse camera and timer..... Job done.
You won't get the picture you want first time, just take loads and pick the ones you want.

Timer. Sometimes phone as remote viewfinder if I'm using my proper camera. Neither are complicated, and I think they give a better impression of what you look like than the traditional mirror selfie which is always at a bit of a funny angle. |

Tripod, SLR camera and a self timer. If you haven't got a tripod use a stack of books, cd's, anything to get you the height you need. You don't need an SLR either, just a camera that has a self timer.
I would not use a mobile phone to take the pictures, as they are not the best thing to use. |

Mine are all taken myself on an iPhone using timers and things to prop the phone up at different angles etc.
I you're getting something particularly tricky (like my current avatar which I fell over trying to capture ) it's sometimes easier to record a video then take screenshots from it when you see a shot you like.
