waiting for the washing machine and the dishwasher to finish their work while posting on the forums.. then off to have a shower, print off bumf and info for my 12.30 meeting while drinking coffee and eating a bacon sarney.....

Recovering from yesterday.
I had the sudden idea that i wanted to go to the seaside, so i cycled from Rochdale to Southport, ate fish and chips then rode home - 92 miles all found.
Thing is, i've had a back injury for a week, not really the best idea i've ever had!  |

I'll be fine, in fact i'll be out on the mtb race bike tonight for my regular mid-week night ride. I'm stiff, sore etc but keeping moving keeps the back from seizing up!
Yesterday was a great day for a road spin, breezes finally dropped to a managable level and nice and warm. everyone was driving happily as well, great day to be out.

mtb's or road bikes?
Lots of places to ride mtb's around Ramsbottom, plus there are the new mtb centres up at Lee and Cragg Quarries - great fun for a blast!
I know a few chaps who live and ride around Rammy, bet they don't know i'm on here though!  |
