Is £130 too much two pairs of smart formal shoes?

I think it's a good deal and good investment.

Just wondered what your thoughts were.

My sister in law spent £50 on two lipsticks recently, so this seems alright!

Pretty good deal, KG are good shoes. A pair of Churches Would set you back 250 plus, just for comparison.

Yeah I can afford them.

Thanks for the encouragement, will wear them on my next meet in that case.

Got to look smart, can't turn up with scruffy shoes, lol.

It's better than £700 on a pair of Laboutins

I wouldn't say it was an investment but it's a good price!

I will stick to my £50 next shoes, bought them back in 2000, still going strong today.

I spotted a lady customer walking into the cocktail lounge I work at with her friend and you could tell she was sophisticated..i looked at her heels and spotted they were Valentino Rock Studs so I had to mention it...she stopped and asked how did I know what they were and the actual style name and 'some girl' earlier had asked her if they were Geiger's to which she pulled her face and said they were not....and she wouldn't wear them..

Now I like Miss KG:s but Valentinos at £750 a pop do sort out the girls from the ladies

If I want something that bad and can afford it, I don't put a price tag on it. I am just waiting for some irregular choice unicorn dream daze shoes to arrive £109 and I will rarely wear them but I can look at them. Hand bags and shoes are my weakness but also a investment.

That's no lady in my book.

She sounds like a stuck up bitch to me.

Not a lady.

Not sure yet, I have wide feet so I'm not setting my heart on a pair and they don't fit...although I'll probably still buy them if they didn't and have them on display!! Xx

£65 for a pair of shoes is reasonable. Think my KG's were around £110, worn to death. Where are you getting them that price?

Go for proper Kurt Geigers. Not the cheaper KG brand. Bought a pair for work. Still cost £70. Needed sole and heeling after a month and were coming apart at the sides so had them done at the same time. Three weeks in developed cracks in the leather across the top. Binned.

Now honestly yes I have some expensive shoes. But for work I now stick to Clarks. A very modern range from the clumpy clogs of yesteryear. Fit like gloves. Instantly comfortable and quality leather. They also have a unique elasticated slit on the top of the shoe which allow your feet to swell throughout the day.

Brighton - even Hove!

You can easily pay £500 for a good pair of shoes.

I often pay £80+ for IC, patiently waiting for the cinderella range to be released. If I had less responsibilities I'd happily spend more on shoes
