I like men with grey hair, I'm not so keen on it on myself so I dye mine. I wouldn't be okay with someone else telling me to do so though. People are allowed to find different things attractive or not, but I don't really like them asking others to change themselves to fit that. |

I used to work with a bloke that had a "Ronnie Reagan rinse" - not a good look in my opinion.
Still, I'm sure sales of "Just for Men" are still buoyant, so I guess it's a case of each to their own. Not for me though. |

I would never ask a lady to change her appearance for me:
I do love grey hair on a lady; the sexiest freind I have has lovely grey hair ( she actually uses the purple shampoo that makes it whiter)
If it's styled well grey hair looks stunning.
Embrace your grey, ladies! |

Bloody hell what a cheeky b*stard!!
I've changed my hair colour recently to encompass the grey as opposed to fighting it, will see how it grows out.
If I change it back it will be because I want too |

He's a cheeky twat and should be grateful you even met him.
A lady I know has her silver grey hair cut to a quite short length, about a number 3 I think. It is quite thick hair and she looks stunning with it like that. She said at her age ( same as me)she just wants to defy convention and not wear knitted cardies and have straggly hair. Hence the short cut hair and an abhorrence of ladies clothes from M&S and similar shops. She loves to shop for clothes in small independent clothes shops/boutiques. |

Since I turned 40 I've found myself wanting some grey in my hair. All I can muster is about 10 grey hairs in total at the moment. (I know, first world problems)
I definitely want to go grey before I go bald though. |

Men yes. On a woman grey hair can look great if it's well cut and in top condition but I think it can be aging if it isn't cared for, mind you any colour hair can look rubbish if it isn't looked after.
The man had a flaming cheek wanting you to dye it though. |

I remember when I was first dating Marc 10 years ago and I said I would never dye my hair and he said he wouldn't stay with me if I had grey hair
Now I have grey hair and he says he doesn't care if I dye it and I'm the one who can't stand it!
Anyway....I'm not a huge fan of grey hair on men or women but it can look good on the right person. |

I dye mine since I am not ready to embrace my silver. But if someone asked me to I would tell them in no uncertain terms to fuck right off. Just like I would if someone asked me to go blonde or red or cut it. My hair, my choice. Same goes for my pubes or usual lack of.
On other people I don't care. I like silver on some people; it suits them. |

Grey hair or white hair can look amazing if styled well.
I wouldn't let a meet tell me what to do with my hair, that's over stepping the mark in my opinion, but I don't know the rapport you have with him. |

I think that with a really good cut and style it can be amazing
Like anything it's about the attitude that goes with it that could make people view a person as young and classy or old and frumpy

"Big up for the Silver fox's
Yep we Silver Foxes love our Silver Vixens..
Silver Vixen, that's a pretty good user name "
Someone did have that name on here and I met her a few times socially. I personally think it is more about the way it is cut. Long grey hair can be a bit 'witch lady' I think. Styled, it can be stunning. As for men, well, greying at the temples is good, like me |

The question is why have you let someone of no consequence get under your skin?
We will never have universal appeal. Some will like us others won't, but it starts with us liking ourselves. |

I like grey hair on a man but I'm not sure how I'd feel about it on myself.
I see women embracing their grey hair though, stylishly dressed and otherwise coiffed, and I think "bloody good for you, you look great!". |

To be honest I had said no way I like it if you don't tough but then it's grated on me and now I'm just angry ?? that he felt he could dictate something so personal and I was so surprised it made me doubt my decision to grow it out but now I think I'm a grown ass woman who is in charge !! |

Love grey hair on a man. On a woman however it depends on the shade, it can be really aging if the grey is not forgiving. I like the violet grey shades that people are going for though |

I'm almost 56 and I have dreadlocks. I thought I'd be rocking grey dreads by now but no, I'm still a brunette. I want hey locs!
Seriously OP, if a meet of mine told me what to do with my body, he'd be out of there. He is a visitor to your body and should behave accordingly. |

Speaking from personal experience, as I have had the pleasure of meeting you several times.
Your hair colour does not change the person you are.
You are a lovely, gorgeous sexy lady.
And for me, the colour of your hair suits you.
With it generally being grey, I personally think it is different.
For a lady it is a bold statement, as convention dictates that men can go grey but not as common for a lady.
If you did dye it, then it would need maintaining and I think that looks worse.. Grey roots etc.
Ignore him, he is being superficial.
What's it too do with him.
Many people out there and in the club who appreciate you for the person you are.
I like you for who you are.
But I do actually also like the grey.
And knowing you now, I think it is you.
Can't imagine you with dark hair (unless dressed up in fancy dress)

Thank you.
And always remember that you are always a gorgeous and special lady.
Yes, being reminded about that does help and is nice.
But it is YOU that makes YOU special, not the words or opinions of someone else.
Just continue being who you are and never change for anyone.

"The colour of a guys hair isn't an issue with me though i hate grey hair on myself"

I can appreciate where you are coming from. But don't 'hate' it.
Ultimately it's what you feel comfortable and confident with.
I do like the colour of your hair and some of the red highlights in the front of your hair. (Gorgeous photos BTW)
But doing something that will make you feel less confident is never a good thing.
It's like anything in life (apologies if I am trivializing everything)
If you feel comfortable and confident then you will be happier.
A lady going Grey, is a bold statement.
And a difficult transition, as again more acceptable that a man starts to go grey bit by bit.
I am sure you would look fine but if you are also happy with your current colour?
Then stick to what makes you happy.
As ultimately that is all that matters.

But a lot of ladies feel the need to hide it; due to social pressure that makes them feel that women must always look young;
Of course, it's your hair, ladies, do as you wish;
But I am a great promoter of the attractiveness that comes with age; and that women should not feel socially pressurized to " follow" the "norm".
So if you like it; flaunt it; use it.... You don't have to hide it. And lots of us blokes love it. |

The guy was out of line!
I found my first grey hair at 35 and booked in to have it dyed 30 mins later.
However I stopped dying it when I was pregnant (38) and now I don't really notice it. Probably because I have so many different tones in my hair.
It's way more accepted for men to be grey than women though imo

And that's fine; I just try to point out that there is a social pressure on women to " stay forever young" when they don't have to. |

I guess my tastes are a bit odd. I'm not really into men to that degree, but I do like grey hair and wrinkles. The older a man looks the more I like it. Yes I'm shallow.
With women there's more to attraction than hair colour. |

I'd tell him to politely do one. It's your hair , surly your hair colour shouldn't define you as a person or at least whether or not it makes any difference on a swinging site.
Do what you feel is right.
But yes I find grey hair on a map rather sexy the silver fox look.
I'd never dream of asking a guy to dye his hair for me |

...and him saying it is difficult or bold perpetuates that awful assumption that beauty is only for the young and that signs of ageing is simply not beautiful. I'm sick and tired of hearing I have a great figure/boobs/hair 'for my age' because that also assumes that not having those at a young age makes us ugly.
Women need to stop seeking validation form others in order to feel positive about themselves and if someone is negative, tell them to fuck right off. |
