Been entrusted with my niece and nephew for the night,in bed all quiet,sound I thought,time to chill,sat down,got comfy,then some fucking halfwit walks down the street giving it max volume with a creepy laugh,stops,turns,loOKs then carries on,he gone but kids awake and scared silly now,any idear how to calm being a complete novice....apart from batter the teat. ..cheers

idk, i'd give them cuddles, get them back in bed, tck them in.

then i would try and tell/read them a story that would make them laugh and hope forget about the creepy clown.

if that doesn't work i'd have them come watch tv/imnternet and fall asleep on the sofa where they feel safe coz an adult is around.

Oh God I have a fear of clowns!

As others have said it's all about distraction and letting them know they are safe. Put happy thoughts in their heads instead of creepy clowns!

The kids won't have known it was a clown.

If the laugh woke them and the person went on their way.

So tell them the truth. It was a person laughing too loud.
