I find this to be more off putting in a profile than having none at all.

What do you think and what could the reason be not to publish?

People dont want to show what others have put, could be too much info that the person feels comfortable with sharing to everyone. Or just because they dont want to and can choose to show what they like

Privacy, social meets, repeat meets, veris that mention your name or other identifying factors, graphic veris, personal choice not to show them...

I always think they're embarrassed if they don't show mine. And what really pisses me off is when they show every one else's who has verified them but mine. I've no problem if they hide them all but when it's blatant it doesn't feel good

I hide mine sometimes when I get grief off men who I've said no to and I get a new one, or more often women who see I've met someone and get all possessive and start sending me abuse because he's "theirs"

I think there should be different coloured ticks for meet veri and Webcam veri so you can hide them. when needed.

Well if people didn't get jealous of folk meeting folk they have their eye on i'm sure so many woukdn't hide them.

I hid mine after people were messaging the guys I'd met for me to get in touch as I've blocked everyone. This wasn't fair on them and to be honest, who I meet is my business and no one else's. I don't care much for veris anyway and cannot receive them anymore due to my age filters.

If someone goes UNLOS (leaves the site) who you had been verified by, it shows in the number count but the comment goes. That can also be a reason.

Anything I find "off putting" is just another filter for me. How others use the site is of no consequence to me.

We stopped posting verifications a long time ago, mainly because people (mainly guys) started to contact those who had left us verifications to question them about us.

We just keep two or three on our profile to show we are genuine....

I do what i like with mine. But when i had them on show not once in 10 years have i had a bitchy comment from a woman. They would soon get told/laughed at

I used to hide ones that were old, repeat versus or were a little too graphic etc. I also know though that some people do it simply so that people don't know who they've met or what they've been up to. Just like anything I guess it can be used for nefarious purposes

cannot begin to tell you what bother some people cause by getting in touch with verified friends - hence all hidden now - not how its preferred but so much easier

We hide ours most of the time now. Why, because we got fed up with all the bitching and the moaning. Such as...

Oh, you've met them or attended those parties.

Oh, you've met them so that means you'll automatically want to meet us.

Oh, you met them, why did you not message us for another meet.

Far easier not to show any.

On my last profile it got too much.

It just became a pain in my arse and the people in question got pretty fucking vindictive and just sucked the fun out of it.

I've shown my summary but shown very few of my verifications. Why? Because some tosser was hassling one of my meets along the lines of 'you shagged him, shag me' when clearly he had the personality of a dead slug.

We show all ours but the number count is different as a number of those who left us veris have since left the site not a lot we can do about that other than hide the counter

It's no one's business but mine, as to who I have met.

And I don't care about verifications anyway.

If someone doesn't like that, then that's their problem, not mine.

And I don't want messages saying " you met X, tell me about her".

I don't show repeat veris as it's pointless really, and I do have a few regular meets.

I've also hidden my veris on occasions when nosey buggers have contacted them asking about me, when I've got grief from guys about meeting someone else instead of them, and when a female started trying to meet everyone I had.

When I do hide them though I'm always happy to show if asked.

Personally I couldn't care less if someone shows all, none or some of their verifications.

Each to their own... and many have good reasons to hide verifications.

We tend to show the most recent and a selection of others.

The only reason for a verification is to say your real and you showed up . Green rick is there for that ..

If a person does not want to meet me because I won't show verification them move on I won't lose sleep over it

Maybe one left the site so the veri disappears. It still registers in the summary though.

I lived so many years without verifications!I don't care if is,off-putting my profile my rules.

Mine are hidden re privacy,mainly because my name is mentioned and I too in the past have had other members messaging people who I had met asking for information about me.

I don't kiss and tell and wouldn't leave a second veri with details for anyone to get a kick out of.
