In my previous incarnation I met loads of people from the forums, almost exclusively in fact as they were the people that I spoke to or interacted with. I'd happily do it again, many are warm and funny people. Redhead and I met as a result of face pic Friday!

I go in the Welsh forum a lot, but I don't think we've had a meet as a direct result of chatting in there, its more like we've bumped into people at socials etc that we've been made aware of through the forums.

I can kind of understand not wanting to meet someone if I was getting bitchy messages though. I wouldn't meet a forumite after that. Too much drama when there are other choices that are stress free.

This is my main concern. And the territorial mail staking a claim. I've met quite a few through forum socials and it's lead to more but people do talk. I'm not sure the drama is worth it any more but I have met a couple and one in particular who are very special to me so not done too badly!

Yes, most of my meets are social (men, women, those outside my preferences) and as a result of the forum.

I travel to meet people for socials and when I'm going to be somewhere I try and arrange socials with forum folk.

It's York in early November, if you're available.

A few men I've met are via the forum and I'm open about that if they are.

Yep we met a few a the AT social & another lovely lady on a one to one recently, would love to meet more and we are working on a plan to do weekends away to incorporate meets/clubs as we don't mind the travelling but 250-300 miles for a night is a bit much.

Just not sure whether to go North West or South West first though in November..

Agreed its a shame many are so far away as based on current form we'd much rather meet more forumites or reaquant ourselves with those we have met already as at AT they were somewhat brief encounters.
