I wouldn't, they hate it when d*unk people turn up in A&E, and will make your stay a nightmare.

Keep yourself hydrated and then sleep it off dude..

If you have alcohol poisoning you'd know about it (and would probably struggle to post this thread)

I wouldn't go to A&E straight away, get 101 to triage you and see what they say.

I'd be surprised if you were capanle of typing coherently if you had alcohol poisoning

What makes you think you have?

I understood what you said OP. The fact that you were able to post this thread properly, I don't think you do... Now if you'd posted fjdidkddnsksidjndfjfudjnjd.... I'd be telling you to get your arse to hospital toot sweet!

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Drink water. DO NOT DRINK COFFEE! This will make it worse.

Stay awake and find someone to sit with you. You must remain upright.

As you're posting, it is unlikely you have alcohol poisoning but if you are feeling like you might pass out then get some help.

It's probably useful to add that if it's impossible for you to stay awake (as it sometimes is), ensure there's someone close to you and maintain the recovery position.

But as I said, 101 it and get them to assess you. If they think you need to get to hospital or be blue-lighte'd there they'll let you know. They're the professionals after all and there's little any of us can do if we're unable to assess you physically.

Unfortunately, the OP hasn't been on for an hour. I hope it isn't alcohol poisoning and that they have someone with them.

Had alcohol poisoning in turkey rough as a badgers ass. Being a Navy boy and what I would say a half decent drinker. Boy you know about it, puked and pissed the bed because of it, not my proudest moment. But was drinking raki and the measures over there are pretty generous and I paid the price. Went for a meal that evening are the corner of my steak and the room was spinning etc. Not a lot you can do for it other than keep yourself hydrated and let it wear off. Probably two days to be fair. Believe me I could drink and it wiped me out!

I'm on the middle of it.

Two more pints and a whiskey chaser and I'm home free

"Think i have it... should i go to hospital?"

are you for real?

if you think you have it, I doubt very much you would be on here asking about whether you should get to A & E or not! idiot

Last time I had alcohol poisoning I blacked out, and the next thing I know is I'm on a ward with my sister by my side.

I can't remember my sister coming round to my house, the ambulence ride, A&E etc. The hangover was something else and lasted a good few days.

That's when you know you've had alcohol poisoning. And it's not an experience anyone should want to go through.

Im still not feeling good at all. But have tried to stay hydrated and awake. Difficult to stay hydrated when ya can't keep anything down.

Sports drinks are a good idea, replaces electrolytes as well as merely rehydrating.

You need electrolytes as well, mainly sodium. To have it absorbed better you also need sugar to go with it. Coke and some crisps is a good start. Although I expect you are asleep by now

No you'd be wasting their time. How can you have alcohol poisoning and still be coherent? My dad had it one new years eve. He was passed out in a ditch missing for 10 hours and was admitted to hospital to have his stomach pumped.

Your typing ability along with your declared symptoms would suggest kebab poisening rather than alcohol, if it was booze you would struggle to say hydrated let alone spell it!
