It is on itv1 4.30pm, are you also going to watch it and what is your prediction? I reckon england will win with 5-0. What do you think of the new england manager gareth southgate? I reckon he will do good as one. |

They 're playing a pub team in international terms, they should stick 5 last this lot, I'm underwhelmed by Southgate same as I was about allardyce. I think its more Gareth stagnate recalling Glenn Johnson ..really he was a liability back then he ain't getting better . |

A bit of perspective, Malta would struggle in the Conference! But give Southgate a go, and dont judge him on 4 games, he won a major U21 tournament so has earned the right to having a crack at moulding a senior team, and that will take a year or two. |

I've said it many times...the squads that went from 2004 to every major international tournament weren't good enough... Proven over the three or four previous tournaments..why the same players were picked by successive managers was beyond me ..to do the same things over and over again and expect a different result is a definition of insanity.. I hope Southgate takes the bull by the horns puts the next generation in first and the 'senior' players are in the squad or on the bench .pleased he's given lingaard a go and one or two others who are in form ..which leads me to question rooneys inclusion.. he's a square peg in a round hole |

We arent going to become world beaters over night, give Southgate a couple of years to bring through some of his U21s and mould a "team" rather than a collection kf individuals. |

I like Gareth Southgate. Would like to see him get the job full time. Prefer an English England manager.! |
