Star Trek was awesome. Star Wars? Equally awesome but better funding.

Both boldly went where no man had gone before, on film at least.

I love them both.

I love both of them, no real favourite either way, all depends on my mood.

You know I'm reading my new best-seller, right?

My Wicked, Wicked Ways by DiamondJoe - it's my autobiography detailing the sordid ins and outs of my two years on sex sites.

Cool huh?

Star Trek for me, DS9 in particular, I put off watching it for years and years but watched the box set a couple of years back, loved everything about it!

Disappointed by the latest Star Wars film. Regurgitation of the first trilogy, in one movie.

Never give up though.

Star trek for sure, the new movie's don't do justice for what it was meant to be. In fact they are a let down..

Star wars movies are great, don't get me wrong, but if you want proper sci-fi with meaning and an actual story line with morals and motivation behind it then the original series is what you want.

"Putting it simply if there had been no Star Trek there would be no Star Wars x"

Really?

Putting it simply, if there had been no star wars, star trek and every other sci fi series and movie would look as clean and futuristic as it did all those years ago.

I've enjoyed Star Trek over the years, but I think that Star Wars is better. Better cast, better storyline, way better music. And which film do people quote the most? Star Wars...

"Beam me up scotty "

I believe Captain Kirk never actually said that. Beam me up, Mr Scott and other variations but always MrScott.

Strange how things filter down into our everyday language.

Live long, and prosper.

Worthing

Star Wars without any of the additional cgi/changes added by Lucas. He has spoilt the films...specially the first one. The Han Solo and Greedo scene is specially bad.
