Is this site a “50 Shades of Grey” substitute

So many people on here, both male and female, moan that people don’t turn up to meets. Is this site for a great many people, (not all), a place merely to live out fantasy’s but never actually act on them.
Just like 50 Shades of Grey, (the whole world seemed to read it), it certainly tapped into some latent sexual urges of many many people, but only a small percentage actually took the next step and made their fantasies reality.
So, like 50 Shades of Grey, is this site just an escapism for most people on it? |

We have had our fair share of timewasters since being here.
We have only had to cancel one meet so far due to some serious personal issues.
We now have made changes to our personal arrangements so if a meet doesnt show, we report and move on to plan B
If people would rather sit and home and wank then its up to them |

Yes, for some it's a place to find something to wank over or to have men tell them how beautiful they are, even with photoshopped pics.
For others it's somewhere to look for people to have sex with, which may take a day or two of talking, or a few months.
For others, sadly, it's a place for earning a bob or two. |

The question isn't really about the quality of the book but why the majority of people are on here - for fun and fantasy only to spice up their lives or to find people to actually meet and have sex with? |

Mrs read the books to see what all the fuss was about. I'd rather poke my eyes out.
And yes, we meet, but certain aspects of 'traditional' swinging don't interest us.
People do come to this with unrealistic expectations, but we're honest with ourselves about what we do and don't like.
If that means we don't meet often, so be it. |

Surely though this site will suffer some fall out, the biggest impact of the 50 shades books would be on actual BDSM sites?
As for meeting, no I am not interested in meeting, or wanking material, but when we were on here as a couple, there were plenty of people willing to meet. |

A lot here are just fantasists but that's why group socials and clubs are a important source for meeting people, we are lucky as we have met some great people over the years |
