Does it make a difference if you have a facepic as your profile Pic or send it in a message?
Don't really want to be spotted by anyone I know but would be willing to send one privately.
Why do women expect the men to have face pics but they don't display them themselves? |

I see it like this, if someone asks for a face pic then either send one or don't, but don't moan when they choose not to take it further, because it's THEIR prerogative to operate in the way that they see fit.

I like a face pic to see who it is I'm chatting too, if the person in the pic isn't my type then there's no point in going forwards, I need to fancy the bloke, this could come from chatting and personality, but it also comes from seeing the person. I don't really care what you have as your avatar (unless there's only the black silhouette) there's nothing worse than chatting to a faceless person |

That's fair enough in your case you have a face pic as your avatar.my gripe is the women who don't put a facepic up and expect men to put one up as their avatar.I am all for sending one privately.you can't expect what you don't do yourself its just ridiculous. |

Do people really request it as an avatar? I know a lot of people ask for one with the first message.
I like one early on. I'll send if asked to go first, and if someone's sends one spontaneously and I like what I see I'll reciprocate with pleasure.
As others have said, it's nice to get it out of the way early on. |

I don't expect guys to have one public but obviously one would have to be sent with your message. I wouldn't message a guy without sending a face pic with my message. |

We put in our profile that we like to have a face pic with first message for precisely the reason another lady mentioned is that I the female half have to like what I see or the excerise of playing is pointless for both of us but yes at same time we don't have public face pics because of work but we always send them upon request if we are arranging a meet or social |

I have nothing to hide but I prefer to keep my face pics private purely because if you have it as your avatar you could be out anywhere and someone could spot you who's browsed your profile remaining anonymous themselves |

When I'm actively looking I like to see a face pic on a profile but if the guy I'm looking at hasn't got a face pic on show but I'm intrested I'll tell him n request a face pic. Xxx |

I work in a very open job so due to wanting to keep things seperate i have a photo here in private which i can send to someone once we have chatted to them.
Its not a double standard its just with my job i want to remain safe at work and enjoy this lifestyle |

But since when have women on Fab expected face pics as an avatar? In fact that's a highly unusual demand. Face pics sent with first messages yes, but nobody expects a face to be on display publically surely? I've certainly never come across that as a requirement.

Because there are far more of them than there are of us so they can be wilfully hypocritical and still get what they need 
I tend not to give them the satisfaction - not that they will give a shit mind you.
I'm also hypocritical in a different way, but unfortunately i'm not female so it hinders rather than enhances... |
