I've often actually considered this argument, and I agree. I've read enough studies disputing the whole hygiene thing - so I can't help but draw a direct comparison with FGM. |

Is a completely different process and FGM is predominantly performed at home ,not by a doctor and the girls legs are tide up together for two weeks! Is more for cultural reason.I know because at our School we support the charity and a lady from London came to speak with the girls,to make them aware of that.
My son is for medical reasons and one week he was recovered.
Some of this girls 10 years afterwards they still carrying with issues,such infertility.Very different! |

When I was in hospital having versectemy, there was a guy in the next bed having himself circumcised. He was only gone for a few minutes, and when he came back he was in a lot of pain. There was a kind of tent thing keeping his sheets of the area, and I'm pretty sure they gave him morphine.

You are right, I am trying to find a female equivalent of circumcision, I think having outer labia trimmed off.
Just be very careful on making parallels with female genital mutilation,please. There is a lot of work being done in this area and no-one has been prosecuted despite it being illegal since 1993.
There are three types of FMG ranging from removing the clitoris, cutting off the inner and outer labia. Cutting the end of the urethra and sewing over the entrance to the vagina to about one centimeter. This causes problems with menstruation and weeing. Infection, infertility. Different aged girls etc.There is much more detail.

Personally i find the act of circumcison on babies is child abuse without their consent. Unless done for medical reasons that is..
If adults choose to have it done then that's fine too...
Babies have no way to stop it if their parents decide to do it.. it cant be undone and the foreskin is there for a reason in the first place! |

I find there are 3 categories here.
Uncut goes without saying. Plenty of foreskin to slide with hands and mouth. More to explore with tongue and lips.
Cut but still plenty of skin for smooth gliding.
Cut and no skin to slide at all. This is where my experience lacks and I worry about friction with hand stimulation and the need for lube. |
