It depends on
1) your definition of a fake/timewaster, and
2) your methods of selection.
We've only had one no show, And they were our first.
You'll soon develop better filters.

Normal for someone to have not learned and changed their filters, common sense, approach and due diligence? No. |

A timewaster is someone who arranges a time and place for a meet and doesn't turn up.
You have had this happen to you 3 times in the 2 weeks you have been on here? 
I would suggest you change your selection process. |

Lots of people are genuine and won't waste your time but it very much depends on how you define those things. If after chatting for a while someone decides not to take things further I don't think that's time wasting but if someone leads you to believe they'll meet and then doesn't turn up it is in my book.
As a general rule if you think something is too good to be true it probably is.

i had a fake and he's into hacking peoples phones
i met him at a group meet
he mailed me later and claimed that he had set up a MMF meeting with a girl in Sheffield
when i asked for a pic he said that would send it to me on WhatsApp
i told him i didn't have it
the same thing happened when i asked for the address
he wanted to send to me by text so i gave him the number to my play phone
it never turned up, he claimed that he had sent it
it took an hour to get it out of him (it was the deal breaker)
i went to the meet this morning, knocked on the door, no one there
tried his phone, no answer and now i have been blocked and his phone is busy
he didn't get my Whatsapp id
