The return of the National FAB Fantasy bus tour!
Jump to: Newest in thread
Some of you may recall I started this a very long time ago and it was mentioned on a forum last night as being a fun memory.
So I thought I would bring it back in case anyone fancies climbing on board? (Ahem)
So basically this is an imaginary bus that tours the length and breath of the UK , where you can jump on to go and visit someone you have fancied on FAB for ages but will never meet because of the distance being too far. So it's a fantasy bus tour!
For example, I am known for my love of big muscular ripped guys but most seem to live up north and as I live in Kent, I am unlikely to get to meet them. So the imaginary bus tour allows me to jump on board and get a ticket to somewhere 200 miles away for a hot meet imaginary meet!
The catch? Well you have to tell the conductor WHO you are going to meet!
Loads of people actually planned real life meets the last time so you never know if your secret crush might make your sexy dreams come true!
OK? Off you go..... |

"Blimey! How times change! People loved this the last time!
No sweat..... back to my wine "
I had a quick check, one of them had 6 posts (the favourite was 'Michaelwood Services') the other 41, the majority of which named 'Scotland'. In neither did people have to name actual usernames. (which I suspect might be your issue - if I wanted to meet XXX, we would pm them privately where our rejection would at least be private).
But maybe the morning crowd will roll with it?

"As I can see the forums have changed I'm going back into hibernation.
Ooh, you're still around? Pity I've already blown my ticket...
Oh well shit happens and then we die
Ffs! "
It's ok you will get over it |

Oh dear . Have a bit of fun. When I did it, of course people named names! It's just a compliment to someone they admire from afar. If people feel uncomfortable then don't play! Very easy! |

Maybe you called it something else? I could bump them all if you like?
Maybe I'm growing bored of people harking back to the good old days when things were so much better.
Oh, And moaning about the newbies filling up threads with incessant to-ing and fro-ing.
But don't worry, I've already been berated by one Forum Famous person today for having a contrary opinion.
That didn't bother me much either... |

"Swing by Birmingham and pick me up, I've got my packed lunch and list of lovely ladies I'd like to grab along the way!"
Sounds like at the moment it's a direct trip from mine... should be there in no time! |

Sod the plane, I'll get ma rubber dinghy out "
You have a rubber dinghy?
That reminds me of the time I had to dial 999 to ask for the Bomb Squad. The lady was very snooty and insisted that I could only have police, fire or ambulance. "Your only other choice is the Coastguard"
"Okay, if you're sure one of their minesweepers could make it to central Derbyshire, I guess we could give them a try... "

I don't think the River Derwent is wide enough to accommodate such a vessel |

Also need a trip across the Irish Sea for a recently returned fabster, though I suppose we'd better detour to pick up Number One Chap first as he's a little keen on her too. |
